Paul is experienced in the delivery and management of environmental support programmes for small and medium sized businesses. From 2003 - 2005 Paul was directly responsible for the project management of White Young Green Environmental's contribution to the Merseyside Business Environment Network (MERBEN) Project. This landmark project involved the provision of support to over 150 small and medium sized companies across Greater Merseyside with the aim of achieving improvement in regional environmental performance and productivity.

Paul has also been responsible for the management and delivery of ASSESS, a nationwide Landfill tax funded project which led to the successful development of a suite of environmental assessment and improvement tools suitable for use within small and medium sized businesses.

Paul is also Project Manager for Contour - The CBI's Environment, Health and Safety Benchmarking and Assessment Tool designed for use in large businesses.

Liz has over two years experience in the delivery of environmental support programmes to small and medium sized organisations across the East Midlands.

In previous roles Liz has been responsible for supporting a range of small and medium sized organisations to improve environmental performance. Liz has comprehensive experience in the completion of:

• Environmental Performance Reviews
• Legal Compliance Audits
• Environmental Management System development support

Liz has also worked as a Sustainability Officer developing internal policy and integrating sustainable development within a Local Authority.

Phil Morton

Phil has been involved in the delivery of environmental support to businesses for over four years. He is experienced in the practical implementation of Environmental Management Systems within a variety of industrial sectors. He has provided support to companies both implementing formally recognised systems and those pursuing initial legislative compliance and environmental best practice.

A large proportion of Phil's work has been done in support of small and medium sized enterprises and he was responsible for the coordination and delivery of SME services in the North Manchester area for approximately two years.

Phil has experience across a range of industrial sectors including construction, manufacturing, and engineering. This work has recently involved the development of bespoke service packages to deliver environmental management systems support tailored to the needs of three specific sectors.

Paul has been with White Young Green Environmental since early 2002 and has over six years experience delivering environmental consultancy to a wide range of client businesses. He has worked extensively with small to medium sized enterprises and has project management, training and consultancy experience across many key projects. Notably, Paul has worked on publicly funded projects such as Project Acorn, CIRIA Easy Access and the BREW Pilot Project, as well as client funded projects across both the private and public sector. His sectoral experience includes construction, horticulture, food and drink, shipyards, cleaning and support services, warehousing and distribution, defence, property management, engineering, waste, rail, retail and pharmaceuticals.

Paul's work experience is underpinned by strong academic and professional qualifications in the environmental discipline, including degrees at BSc and MSc level, full membership of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (MIEMA) and Chartered Environmentalist (CEnv) status.

Raffaella has been involved in Environmental Management Systems implementation projects for companies across a variety of sectors. These include clients in the horticulture, cleaning and support services, facilities management, pharmaceutical and waste management sectors.

Raffaella has developed significant experience in:

• Meeting sector needs in the application of environmental legislation
• Definition of Key Performance Indicators and environmental objectives and targets
• Development of EMS support material

Raffaella has also worked abroad supporting EMS implementation within a waste management company.
